Eventually, military order was restored, but the pair was seen as a threat, despite their innocence. However, said parents perished when The Beast, a powerful conduit with the power to awaken other Conduits at the cost of immense human life, destroyed her home town, during which Celia's powers over paper awakened.Īlone again, she was discovered by Brooke Augustine, also a Conduit and a soldier, the only survivor of her battalion which was wiped out by The Beast. A little everyday for seven years, secreted away, has become a flock. for once in my life, I choose what happens next. A new cage they want me to rot in to never use my powers again! No. And now they wanna ship me to a government detainment center. Still, I like what SP is trying to do here with this free content.Caged, before I could ever fly free. The game was definitely shorter than I had anticipated, but probably because Sucker Punch cut down on a lot of the bloat (blast shards in particular) that were staples of the previous games. SS was never advertised- at least not that I'm aware of- as this vast open-world where I will have tons of things to do outside of the core experience, so I'm not going to complain about something it wasn't meant to be (as much as I would have liked to have a lot more side content). just drop it immediately and move on to things that you do like. If the slow rollout pace is bringing you down, maybe just move on to other things for a while and come back to it in a month or so and you ought to have a more sizable chunk to play through. ![]() I get people wanting all of it in one place/platform, but then a lot of the investigating re: checking out different sites, etc. I've got plenty of other things to play on my PS4 and it's nice to have something free that will have me dive into the game for a short while now that I've platinum'd it. I'm having fun with it precisely because it's presented in bite-sized chunks. ![]() I like the mythos it's trying to flesh out. It also would be nice if there was some kind of unique boss fight at the end. I still think there'll be a power payoff at the end of this DLC lest people really start bitching about this whole ARG thing being pointless. Something involving Curdun Cay might be interesting. It actually would make sense if they decided to use the standalone they are developing to put some of the other powers mentioned to use, good/evil upgrade tree and all. ![]()
